What is boudoir photography?

Boudoir photography is a genre that captures intimate, sensual, and romantic images of individuals, often featuring elegant lingerie or stylish clothing. This style of photography is not limited to any one type of woman; it is for every woman. Boudoir is about celebrating yourself, and the resulting images should make you feel beautiful and empowered in every way. These photographs are designed to help you reflect on a moment in your life when you fully embraced and celebrated every part of who you are.

Is there a minimum or maximum age for a boudoir shoot? 
You must be over the age of 18 due to the nature of the sessions. However there is absolutely no maximum age for the sessions! Every woman should feel incredible regardless of their age.

What should I bring to my boudoir shoot?
This is a frequently asked question. While I do have a selection of lingerie and outfits available in the Beautifully Me wardrobe, I recommend bringing one or two outfits that make you feel confident and amazing. You are welcome to browse the wardrobe upon arrival to see if anything suits your style.

Additionally, please bring any accessories you would like to incorporate into your session. I will provide suggestions and guidance before the shoot to help you make your selections.

For your comfort, you may also want to bring a dressing gown to wear when moving between sets in the studio.

Do I have to get naked? 

Absolutely not. We can do more "nude" images if you like however there is absolutely no need if this is not something you would like to do. You can keep your fluffy dressing gown on if you really want!

Will my photos be publicly available on the internet?

No, your images will remain as private as you choose. The photos featured in galleries on my website and social media are from clients who have opted into my Ambassador Program and have given consent for their images to be shared publicly. This program is available to all clients, and as a thank you for participating, they receive a 10% discount. For more details, please ask about the programme.

I have scars and acne, can you remove them?

I believe in embracing and celebrating our bodies and the stories they tell. However, I understand that we may all have certain features, such as scars or stretch marks, that we may not feel completely confident about. Upon request, I am happy to remove small marks if desired, but I want to emphasize that I do not alter your appearance to the point where you no longer look like yourself. I do not remove scars, moles, acne, or other natural features without explicit consent. My goal is to enhance your images while maintaining your authentic beauty.

I am bigger than many of the girls on your website can I still do a shoot? 

Absolutely! Boudoir sessions are for everyone, regardless of size or shape. Curves create beautiful, unique forms, and we celebrate all body types. Please don’t feel discouraged by what you see on my website—this experience is about embracing and honoring who you are. You are beautiful, and I encourage you to love and appreciate the body that carries your spirit. A boudoir shoot is a powerful way to reconnect with your confidence and celebrate your individuality.

Do I need to have professional hair and makeup done?

The short answer is yes! Unless you are a professional makeup artist yourself, I highly recommend booking a session with a professional. I don’t know how to pose will you help? 

100%. This is my job. I will guide you every step of the way. I will break the poses down step by step to ensure we get the best out of your session.

Do you offer payment plans ? 

Yes I do offer payment plans. Final balance is due 2 weeks prior to the session. Please speak to me about the payment plans if this is something you would like to consider.

The girls on your website look amazing. Are they models ? 

All of the women featured on my website are real women. NONE of them are professional models. They are mums, daughters, sisters, fiance's, business women, pet owners, you name it. All different women on different journey just embrace self love and happiness.

However, I take pride in being transparent about all costs and providing a high standard of service. My studio is modern, clean, and secure, with a private dressing room for your comfort and privacy.

I have invested in ongoing training to ensure that I deliver the highest quality images to my clients for the value they are investing. While there are opportunities to purchase additional products after the session, all of my packages include digital downloads, so you can walk away with tangible memories from your shoot.

Can I buy my wife / significant other a gift card?
